In Consulting we work relentlessly with the development of ourselves and the people we manage. This is done continuously through extensive training and on-the job coaching and feedback. Over the course of a consulting career - even if just over a few years - people gain an extremely structured approach to problem solving, making it possible to generate well-documented solutions to challenging questions in a very short period of time. Furthermore, the ability to summarise and present findings to executive management in a convincing manner is a key success criteria.  


This training is now made available outside consulting through the 4-month program Consulting 101, which consists of 5 full-day trainings combined with individual coaching sessions working on real issues from your daily work. 

Anybody who works on strategic projects and needs
to be able to communicate efficiently to executive management

You might be working as an in-house consultant or business developer, you could also be a project manager or product manager. You could even be a consultant at a smaller consulting firm, where there isn't a full training program. Finally, we also have specialists like lawyers, HR & finance professionals and data scientists joining the program.

I don't expect you to have any previous experience as a consultant, and the training will be relevant whether you have a few years of work experience or already have a long career behind you.

Consulting 101 is developed to give the opportunity to “spend 4 months as a consultant” receiving the same kind of training and coaching as a supplement to your current job. It contains the core elements of the consulting toolbox - both in terms of Tackle & Solve and Engage & Mobilise.

The training will be highly experiental - no long sessions with slides

In every session throughout the day we will have a brief introduction of the concept/theory followed by hands-on exercises to embed the learning, e.g.:

  • Mini-exercises

  • Group cases

  • Discussions in pairs

  • Presentations in plenum and groups – prepared and unprepared

  • Individual reflection

To deliver a great result at the end, we will have to practice both content, format and delivery such as presence and body language.
